In July, we were lucky enough to have Coach Clive Williams of the One Goalkeeper Academy in Swansea, Wales visit and stay with us in Maryland. We first met Coach Clive in Swansea in 2025 while Lucas Burgos was on a training and practicum trip throughout Wales and England.
Coach Clive and Lucas immediately hit it off during their first training session, and the relationship has only strengthened since those cold December sessions in Swansea.
Fast forward to July 2026, Coach Clive and Lucas put in over 10 hours of training across five days as Lucas prepares for a jam packed fall season with three teams.
Coach Clive also got to observe and provide feedback for Lucas during his week-long camp at Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland, as well as during shooting drills with Coach Kevin of World Class Premier.
